Hacking Data Install option in games help when using ISOs?

I tend to install my UMDs to my memory stick since its a bother dealing with discs when I'm not home, as well as improving loading speeds, but since a few games have Data Install to help with that, I'm just curious if makes any difference when the game is already on the stick.

This thread has come up a few times before and I just tried looking for the recent thread I posted in about it but I can't find it.

In short: Some games do help from it but that's only a small number of games.

Okay, thanks. Guess I'll save the space I would use for Valkyria Chronicles 2 DI for another game instead. Should be able to install either Final Fantasy.
