as for this using rev17 or rev17b, i'm pretty sure it uses 17b because the scifii peeps took part in this so im assuming they included it.
Yeah it says it's a modified version of the Sciifii installer
I don't know if the Sciifii people actually helped with that modification though

And there's a new installer too! It's a modified version of sciifii v2, provided by TeamWiigen (thanks again guys!), so it can install both online and offline (if you have the files).

Well, you only have to uninstall first if you have remnants of cIOSCORP v3.4 or lower. If you uninstalled these remnants when you installed cIOSCORP v3.5 or v3.6, then you don't need to uninstall again.

Well, I did the modifications and compiled it, but arasium gave me the source and helped me out with my xml when I screwed it up.

Whats the deal/advantage of using rev13 dip with some IOS instead of rev17? I just presumed that rev17 would be better in all circumstances.

And yes, the installer is our work. I've given the source to dla in order to modify some texts.

Not so much with cmios itself, but rev14 DIP and higher break support for legitimate (and possibly burned, can't remember) GC discs when used in the system menu IOS, and it screws with some older games, like Red Steel and MP3.

If you install cIOSCORP v3.3 (if you can find a copy, I think there's a rapidshare link somewhere on the internetz), you'll see what I mean, as it uses rev14 DIP for sysmenu IOS.

Not completely related, but I still don't get why the MakeKeyBin program is allowed while the common-key.bin isn't...
All it does is paste the key in a bin file (after it does some calculations with the number you enter)
