I think my sd2vita card failed. I'm copying over the content to my computer. I'm going to test the micro-sdcard first, then if all checks out, get a new sd2vita. I need to sell this pos. lol

which sd2vita you have? I am using a V1 adapter for my PSTV, and is very finicky... if It moves slightly, it won't read anymore. Have to jiggle the adapter around a few times for it to boot again.

thanks you all. I'm not sure if it's the sd card or not, because when I woke up, the computer seemed to be hibernating or something, so when I hit the power button, it came on to my desktop. the sd card was being verified at the time, and it was going extremely slow (like kilobytes, then it got to a max of 1.something MBs), so I reset the whole thing. it should finish when I'm awake, unless it does that again.

the sd card finished scanning without errors, so I'm putting everything back on the card. maybe the sd2vita got disloadged, though that usually entails freezing at boot if it's kinda making contact. if it's not that, I'll try reinstalling vita shell through molecular shell to see if my config.txt is still good. I did buy a new sd2vita for three bucks just now in case that is the problem.

I fixed the problem. It was two things. It is the sd2vita (tried another, from my vita), but I also had to disable yamt, restart, re-enable, restart. It did work, but I think I'm going to sell the unused pstv.

Looks like the sd card might be failing even though it past h2testw. The read speed is messed up. I can't afford a new sd card till at least tomorrow, since Walmart already took the money out for the Pokémon switch.

I got a new micro sd card, testing it now. it will be like 8 hours before I can put the content on to it. fingers crossed or else I'll sell the pstv as damaged somehow.

well, that new micro sd card didn't function any better nor did a different sd2vita. I think it may be the yamt driver that's the problem, so I might sell the system now, locally, on facebook marketplace. I don't have the box (I don't think). I know I saved it, but it may have been lost at some point. how much is a pstv and power cable? I plan to do a system restore before putting it on the market.

I've had a lot of issues on my regular Vita using yamt, so I even didn't install it on my VitaTV and still using the old method. It's a bit slower when booting but at least it's still works.

something was going horribly wrong with Berion's theme phalaris nebula. the music would stop a few seconds in no matter what, so I got rid of that filth. hate the guy anyway. I'm back at the default theme.

I think I finally got this figured out. I changed from fat32 to exfat, and no more sluggishness when turning the system on (not rest mode).
