As far as I know, D2E is only in Japan so far...

I'm from Canada so don't know the serial ranges for AUS machines...

They are shipping D2Pros out that are compatible with D2E chipsets.. You ahve to make sure it says D2E and has the D2E sticker on the chip... But they are out there.

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C

There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.

the only reason i think it might be D2E is cause of ozmodchips website

* lah1016 and lower - DMS/D2B - Works with only 5 wire
* lah1016 to 10215 - D2B with pins cut - Works with only 5 wires, without using the cut pin region! easy!
* lah10216-1044 - D2C - Works with only 9 wires
* lah1045-1056 - D2c2 - Works with this
* lah1056 - D2E - Works with this

if you are unsure, wait for the Wasabi v2. It will work for all chips. Even D2C2 and D2E
