Is this d2ePro modchip properly installed?

Hi, so I took my Wii for a repair in a local shop, they said they would try to fix it without fully replace the DVD drive (it was cheaper to get a another Wii at that point), but they failed. However, I think the modchip is installed differently now, I see that it is in another place and the wiring seems different as well (had tape in parts there was no tape before).

Just want to know if the modchip wiring is correct in terms of wire soldering points, in case something is wrong, I can attempt to fix it myself.

Hello, I don't know much about modchips but I saw you were trying to find a diagram for this one in an old thread, unfortunately even after visiting the link with the way back machine the images appear to be gone. After countless reverse image search I found a website that still hosts the image but it's corrupted, it shows the full image in the preview but when i open it half of it is missing, I'm leaving the link to the image in case anyone here knows how to recover it: https://www.chipi.ru/wii/pics_wii/d2cpro_diagram.jpg

Also, using the wayback machine i managed to get this info about the modchip but I don't know how much it will be of help, good luck.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately that chip is the d2cPro GW-619, while mine is a d2ePro GW-609A. If you look at the pictures, it has waaay more cables than mine (d2ePro has 9 in total). I, however noticed that the chip has a very similar install layout to the Wasabi modchip:

I'm wondering if perhaps this would be the correct way to install the modchip...
