Also, RealHotStuff is known to sell fake Acekards at least, and really is not that cheap either, So I would not call it even near "the best" - There is few sites, like GameKool and so on that do sell genuine stuff and are quite cheap. (I have not bought from any, but can read much of positive experiences around)

*edit*

and one more time:
Stay away from RealHotStuff (clone sellers *spits*)

Proof, please...

RE: the OP's question - as others have said, if you may get a DSi or DSi XL in the future, get an AceKard 2i. I have both (and many other carts) and if I were only on DS/DS Lite I would definitely go for the CycloDS. But then again, I use my DSi way more than my DS Lite so AceKard 2i wins in my opinion.

If your getting Dsi or Dsi Xl by all means get an AceKard 2i or an iEDGE.

But if your staying on a Ds lite get a Cyclods evo which is a great cart.

Just ordered a cyclo from realhotstuff, Hope it goes well,

When your ordering does Card Name mean Amex or does it mean name on card? I hope it still goes thru if its not Amex.

Edit: Also is there any way to play GBA games without having the gba slot thing? Or do i have to get one. I would love to play my gba games on my ds again (I lost all my games and will be getting them on the ds, i had like 20 games im kinda mad.

As of right now, it is not possible to play GBA games without a slot 2 device. That is to say until the new Supercard comes out, whenever that is. I still have an old Supercard SD which plays most GBA just fine.

Many threads on Acekard side saying getting fakes/defective products that they (KNOWINGLY) sell even after many complaints.

I am not sure if cyclo will be anything like it, after all only "clone" cyclo has is knock off with different name.

I am no expert, but i follow the surroundings. And just in name of honesty; I only have experiences with DealExtreme and that is now null after they removing flashcarts for good from their inventory... OH WAIT! CycloDS evolution still is in their inventory - and well, not cheapest of them all but for international customer 47$ and free shipping is good price. Dunno the RHS stuff.

(I had to pay around 70$ for my cyclo, effin' Finnish taxing and pricey mod stores...)

does the cyclods evolution have the save thing im guessing it does since it has the most features. r u able to save anytime like when using a emulator? also does cyclods evolution support micro sd and micro sdhc wihtout having to use a sd adapter?

Yep. The Real Time Save (RTS) feature is like the save slates for emulators. Except there's only one save slot.

I don't quite understand your second sentence. Yes, it does support microSD/SDHC...but what does a SD adapter have to do with anything. Only microSDs are needed for any flashcarts..

If you're asking if the cyclo can use RTS with homebrew, it can't.

You would get faster and better quality answers if you typed correctly, this isn't irc.

I think like emulators like snes. and yes the emulators already have RTS on them so idk why u would ask

thanx for the reply. well ive seen some sites sell the micro sd with a sd adapter. and they also sell flashcarts with micro sd and micro sdhc so i take it as u say only microsds r needed that u dont need a sd adapter and that micro sdhc works also cuz why else would they bundle micro sdhc with a flashcart if it didnt work i was thinking of getting a 4gig microsdhc with cylclods evolution.

also i wasnt asking if emulators had quick save or if emulators on cylcods had quick save i was asking if the cyclods had the quick save for nds games like emulators have.

The CycloDS has RTS(Real Time Save: aka "Quick Save"). You have to create a RTS file for every game you want to use RTS with. You do this by pressing an holding select, then launching a game it should say "Loading... (RTS Initialize)". You can then enter the Enhanced Menu while you are playing a game by pressing "A, B, X, Y, L, R" all at the same time(if you do this while in a menu it reduces the chance that your DS will white screen or freeze) and scroll down to "Realtime Save" and press "A".

Well I own a Cyclo myself and have to say that during these 2 years I've been very pleased! It has RTS as Gariscus mentioned and Slow Motion which enables the game to be played at 50%, 33% or 25% speed on top of the normal 100% speed. Helps in some annoying games where you need to do something very quickly

AK2i doesn't have either of these features (correct me if I'm wrong since I just quickly searched around and checked the reviews here).

Game compatibility is superb for both cards as far as I've seen. Both update around the same time all the games give or take a few days for each.

Yeah - though, I have to say slow motion (GENERALLY) is top 1 in useless features.

Real time save can (or cannot) be useful, it depends on game and situation (well, in Ace attorney series I have used it)

In game text reader: COOL, only if you take the time to get a walkthrough from internet and naming it right, and putting to your memory card. and if you are at home next to PC the need for it is somewhat less..

Soft reset is small time saving feature, though, I myself still turn off and on the console, both cyclo and acekard.

Actually, if cyclo was a 30USD cart i would maybe recommend it right away - not to say it is overpriced - it isn't, it costs price of one brand new game, so it is awesome compared to that of one game. But when compared to some flashcarts than can dip their price really low (acekard) with great compatibility and fast updates, and reeling behind them are other ones (M3) what have same features but not-as-great compatibility in matter of speed on updates, but some of same features (RTS and so on)

But, as of this date, for DSlite Cyclo is most solid flashcart package you can get.

Well i got my cyclo today(Ordered Monday afternoon recieved Early Today(wendsday) Awesome, RealHotStuff is great)
I love it and its extra features and especially Slowdown for tricky stuff in Super Mario and in the future Trauma Center(I could never finish it on my real cart it should be easier if i can slow it down)

Man, you're an idiot. RealHotStuff is an official reseller of the AK2i.

Why would Acekard themselves recommend it, if they sell clones? *see sig*

Compatibility goes with AKAIO, the CycloDS is good but it still fails to run a couple of games properly:
- 1981 Houkago Shounen for example freezes when saving in game
- Combat Of Giants: Mutant Insects fails to run at all.
- Warioware D.I.Y freezes when saving downloaded games off NinSoft Store
There is probably alot more but I can't be bothered testing them. (all of the above work perfectly on akaio

EDIT: For what its worth AKAIO did have the english pokemon releases fixed BEFORE they were dumped
