And I just updated my friend's kids CycloDS's yesterday so they could play Pokemon.

As I recall, you were eagerly awaiting updates not too long ago.

I can confirm this works flawlessly with 4749 on the DS. I played all last week with the beta update, through 6 badges and several wifi trading sessions. Not a single blackout the whole time.

Team Cyclops does release fixes frequently (if you also count the betas).

Ahhh poo! I'm having an issue with Warioware D.I.Y!

Updated the firmware, and selected ROM, but it just hangs at the "Loading" screen. Anyone got an idea about how to fix this?

Thats normal it takes about 20 to 30 seconds to create the save.

Edit:

Takes 2 minutes with Sandisc 4GB x4.

Yay! It's working now :] And for the record, I timed it to be about 3 minutes X_X

Just timed it to and it took 2 minutes, maybe it has to do with the sd card speed.

Does this problem still persist after the first time?

Regarding this, it might be worth loading up a fairly simple game first, so that's out of the way, then load one of the other games like DIY.
