Homebrew CycloDS Evolution on 3DS?

A thought tho. If I recall the CycloDS Evo runs with an SD Card formatted to FAT16. Could that be the problem? Should I reformat?

It's showing FAT32.

I'm running Windows 10 tho and it's not giving a FAT16 option. It's only showing: NTFS, FAT32, and exFAT.

it's an 8GB SD card, but it's showing 7.60 GB.

I have a 4GB card too if that helps.

Sounds like it should work. Try blowing on the CycloDS cartridge, and make sure it's inserted correctly.

Well, if I plug in a random game cartridge, eject, and then plug in the CycloDS, it says Unknown Cartridge on the DSi menu, so it's apparently seeing it.

I haven't used this CycloDS for a LONG time tho, so maybe it's dead?

As I said before, I do have the Blue Gateway card as well, but is that safe to use? Gateway doesn't have the best track record from my understanding.

Looks like I've got the Gateway Blue Card running, but I just tried loading on Pokemon Platinum seemed to run fine, but now it's stuck on a saving screen.

Is there something I need to get the saves to work?

No. Saving doesn't work for starting flashcard games in the TWLoader GUI.

Nope, no fix. This is the only known way of starting GW Blue Card flashcard games in the TWLoader GUI. Saving works for other flashcards, though.

Of course I have to have the flash card that can't save. I guess there's no real point in using it then.

Well, almost. At least I can play a Tales game I've never played before. XD Thanks for all your help.

I'll probably try tinkering with my CycloDS card some more and see if I can figure out how to get it working.

I got my CycloDS Evo working!

I had to add the update.evo file with the latest CycloDS firmware to the flashcard's SD.
Then when launching the Slot-1 Card, I had to hold Down + B to launch the update manually.

After a quick reboot, It's working just fine now. XD

It works with any TWLoader theme.
That's only if you're starting the flashcard games from TWLoader, but since there's no pack for CycloDS Evo, it's not possible for your flashcard.

Autoboot works differently. If autoboot is set to the rom that sets the autoboot path, then goes back to CycloDS UI, it'll start the set rom, but when I try to load another rom, the last loaded rom will run instead.

I see. Perhaps you could post your current findings so that someone could find a workaround for this.

I know this is an old thread, but I need some help on this too.

I have a New 3DS with TWL installed and a CycloDS Evolution, which works correctly on a NDS Lite. When I try to load it via TWL, I only get white screens. I've set the theme to R4 and I've set Reset Slot-1 to on in Settings. Maybe I'm missing something: As this flashcard is NOT supported by TWL, I get I don't have to put any special files inside de flashcard's micro SD, do I?
