Gaming CXMB for 5.03 GEN-A

I downloaded a CXMB plugin for 5.03 GEN-A, but I can't make heads or tails of how to install it. How do I install it, and once installed, how to I use a custom theme? I downloaded a CTF theme that I want to use, but I have no knowledge of how to do so.

Please help.

That looks exactly like the one I downloaded, except I don't think my download was v2. Still, how do I install it, and once installed, how do I install/use custom themes?

Not sure I guess you just enable the plugins then the theme. Just a guess I don't use custom themes.

I use CFWE on my PSP2000v3, so im not sure how the GEN one works, but I think there is a recovery menu there somewhere (select button?).

Place your stuff in root:/seplugins and add the correct line to your vsh.txt
something like "ms0:/seplugins/cxmb.prx 1"

doesnt it come with a readme?

It comes with a readme, but it's extremely hard to read.
From what I can understand (I'll use the full version since I have GEN-A Full), I just copy the three folders to my root, enable the plugin, and then reboot. Once in there, I copy the themes I convert with the included tool to the PSP>THEME folder, and then select it in the menu. Am I right?

Well actually you had to put that cxmb folder(that was in full or lite) in the root of your MS, add "ms0:/cxmb/cxmb.prx 1" to vsh.txt, and lastly hit select have the VSH menu to show up to get the recovery menu and go to plugins to see if it was enabled, hope this helps.

Apparently I installed it properly... but what if I lost power and get back to OFW 5.03 with a CTF theme applied? Will I brick my PSP?

EDIT: I tried to switch back to Classic theme from a CTF theme, but it didn't go back. Am I gonna have to worry if I lose power or GEN-A crashes, like it has once? I really don't want a $200 brick.

No, if the plugin gets disabled or you go back to OFW, it will revert to the original theme. The theme is read from the MS, and doesn't touch the flash part of the PSP.

Right, noticed that when I tried to apply a theme that apparently didn't properly convert. I thought I was screwed because I couldn't boot back to GEN-A. IT would load, freeze, and shut down. I deleted the custom theme from the Theme Settings, and I located and deleted the .ctf file from the THEME folder. 5 minutes later, I was loading GEN-A again.

Now, does anyone know where a good CTF theme site is?
