Gaming Cutscenes skip with burned games?

okay here is my problem, cutscenes on most of my burned games have stuttering problems, and sometimes freeze forcing me to either reset or skip the scene altogether.

I have a BenQ drive with iExtreme 1.6 firmware, I use Verbatim Singapore discs, I burn at 2.4x, and I just replaced my burner and the new games still have choppy cutscenes.

Does anyone else with a BenQ drive have this problem, or does this mean my drive is on its way out the door?

I had this problem before. My 360 laser was misaligned.

I heard 1.6 was buggy , I'm using 1.5 and using img burn to burn at 8x with no problems ...not sure what drive I have though sorry oh and I use memorex disks

Well the problems started with 1.50, so i know its not the firmware. anyone know how th ehell to align a 360 drives laser?

Well I personally don't know the detailed steps as I was not the one to fix my 360's issue, but from what I know, you have to open your dvd drive casing for one thing.
