First off, thanks for the great work on this app.

I used it to create a custom channel for NeoGamma R8 b12 (Download) and it works just fine, but I just installed the wad on my Wii and I noticed that the graphics become horizontally stretched when you have the Wii in widescreen mode. Is it possible to insert the banner/logo/icon images that are dimensionally compatible with the 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio? I'm afraid to embed any strange sizes since everybody says it's so easy to brick your system with a bad banner. Please advise.

I've noticed the same thing with a channel i made. The graphics get stretched big time and i don't feel like tweaking the images slightly and I don't feel like reinstalling the wad over and over again until it looks right.

Could have many reasons. First get the dimensions of the pic you're replacing (by extracting it, the next Version will directly tell you).
Note that the image will be streched to fit the original image that you replace.
So, maybe it gets streched while inserted (Just check that by previewing the Tpl after replacing the image).

As I see, you're image matches the standard size, so it shouldn't be the problem (depending on your base WAD).
I have no experience in creating 16:9 channels, as my TV is 4:3, but you could try to use a channel that fits to your screen as a base WAD.

Am I wrong or did they delete it ?

Maybe an included forwarder dol would be cool, but for paths and parameters to be changed I think it would be hassle, so no hurry. If you like that idea maybe I can help ?

Thanks for the info Leathl.

Does anyone know of any wads that are originally designed for 16:9 that I can use as a base? thanks!

I am a noob with this.
I want a forwarder to load the triiforce mrc Homebrew application.
What are the steps to be taken?
I can not find a little tutorial

Hi Leathl,

If it's not too much to ask, I would also love to have a version of customizemii for MacOSX... that would be fantastic.
I see you're in Berlin? Lichterfelde myself, moved to the UK 20 years ago...

Thanks

Tim
