Homebrew Custom Theme Thread

I'll be adding labels to it, pretty sure the second line of colors is Folders and Borders

Heres the one's i've gotten finished so far.. or mostly finished

Christmas Maki: (has custom BGM too)

Levi Kazama: (custom BGM and CWAV apon opening 3DS)

..and i'll work on these other 2 when i get free time

Thanks! Now I was able to make a panoramic Slowpoke theme.

body_LZ.bin 1 2 (numbers indicated in bottom screen screenshots)
BGM.bcstm (only about 30 seconds, but high quality and fades out, rather than cutting off the sound entirely)

Edit: Don't forget to rename them to body_LZ.bin and BGM.bcstm respectively. Also feel free to use this as a template for panoramic themes, since I don't think I've seen anyone else releasing panoramic themes.

If you mean default as in the colored ones, no. They can only be obtained by taking them from the home menu romfs. You can check out the pastebin I posted awhile back, it's the layout of the default themes so you can make your own.

This is a really cool theme it just could do with some music from the game to go with it, to finish it off properly It would be nice to have some more WiiU Mario & Zelda and other game themes like from Mario Kart 8, Mario Sunshine, Mario 64, Twilight Princess, Paper Mario Sticker Star, Captain Toad, ZombiU etc.. I would do them myself but have not got a clue but I'm sure someone that knows how to do them easy enough could make them up.

A Mario Sunshine theme?
I messed around with making one just now. I was experimenting with taking a 1024x768 image I found and creating a panoramic theme that would line up on both top and bottom like the Link Between Worlds official theme is made.

This is what I've got so far:

I messed around with making one just now. I was experimenting with taking a 1024x768 image I found and creating a panoramic theme that would line up on both top and bottom like the Link Between Worlds official theme is made.

Glad you like it. You have to get things to line up and I had to compromise a little to make it work with the source image. 1008x240 is what really gets used out of the 1024x256 image you make (1024x512 counting top and bottom) for each screen. I ended up shifting part of the bottom image over so that I could get a 40 pixel shift, taking into account the 16 pixels you have to help with that (so it should be that 24 pixels of the bottom were moved over and stuck on the right side). It created a slight break as you scroll to the edge, but at least the break occurs on where there's not much of anything interesting to look at. I guess the main thing is that everything else lines up right.
