I use this program also on Windows 8.1 and it works fine :/
hmmm try to update your .net framework or run as admin?

i have the latest .net and admin still crashes, as does changing the compatibility

Unrelated: I like the Pikachu theme someone here made, except that Pikachu flashes as you scroll to the right. Any way that you could just make Pikachu a static image instead?

I just updated my Pokemon theme. Now pika won´t flash away anymore

make sure to launch it from a location that doesn't have spaces in the path (I did that and it didn't crash, only misbehaved, though).

So just to be clear, we should take a sound, make it exactly 3,371,008 bytes, convert it to BRSTM and make it loop, and then convert the BRSTM to a BCSTM?

it turns out that the file's size can be <= 3,371,008 bytes. do this: take a sound, convert it to brstm making it loop and, if its size is <= 3,371,008 bytes, convert it to bcstm, otherwise reduce the quality/cut it so that it's smaller and retry.

still crashes i just renamed the folder 3ds and same problem

I'm having a problem. I made my own theme and it shows in the preview of Theme Editor.
Then I save it, copy it to /3ds/3ds_homemenu_extdatatool and select Copy Savedata.dat from sd to exdata.
I leave Homebrew Menu And nothing changed. What am I doing wrong?

Yeah just did. And still the same old animal crossing background.
Im on 9.2.0.20E BTW

I think it might have to do with it not copying anything!
SaveData.dat =/= body_LZ.bin

Ok so I got it to work. I just don't know how!

when ever i try to open the body_LZ file i just get an error and then the app closes =\ maybe its my computer. if anyone is bored enough to make the theme for me i would wicked appreciate it. its a sonic CD theme and the images are too large to upload so here are links.

can someone make a theme using the files in the link? I put three bgm in there so could someone make three copies of the theme but with different bgm? the sizes of the images are not right as well, so it still needs to be resized. sorry for that. thanks. it's for a US 3DS
