Custom Firmware: Non-Official / Non-Sony System-Firmware that allows a user to "unlock" the homebrew capabilities of the PSP.

You might add "Avoid Team LDX firmwares."
There's another 6.20 cfw that doesn't really work but i forgot "who" made it. Avoid MAD firmwares.

EDIT: My friend uses 5.50 MHU which is supposedly pretty good also.

If I get time I may compile this (With your permission of course) into a PSP Starters guide thread

And another thing you might add:
DarkAlex is not continuing his work on m33 for a while (maybe he'll never work on it anymore), and gen is still in development (if I'm correct).

Well, you could update to MAD if you had a pandora on hand and a MMS.

So, could we have a moderator please close this thread? It's derailed a considerable amount. If you want to talk about different custom-firmwares then you should make a more single-minded thread for that. This thread is for the advantages and disadvantages. Thanks.

    Sincerely
    /2aven

Threads get derailed all the time, it doesn't matter.
