Whatever I do, I can't seem to get into the app

I downloaded the file

Put it into a folder in the apps

But, when I load it, the wii crashes and resets

I tried to install again and again but it just keeps resetting

Please help, I need to downgrade to 3.2U

I don't know how to get it to work

Thanks for all the help, but i have 1 more question

Is there anyway you can tweak your internet connection for DVD Dumper Wifi?

I've only been going 200-300 kb per seconds, I heard people go up to 500

I wonder how do you get it that kind of speed?

technically it isn't your internet, only your router's wifi speed, which can support way more than 500 kbps anyway. it's either your computer's distance (and things like walls being in between) that's causing it, or it's just normal. I for one only got speeds like 500 kbps for a few seconds before it dropped back down to only 300-350. I think it has something to do with the wii dynamically decrypting it and everything.

this might be completely wrong, but it's what i know..

bit of a noob question but how do i downgrade to rev 10 from rev 13?

Just run the cIOS rev10 installer. All of those rev ___ installers install to IOS249 so whatever the last one you run is will be the one you're using as that installs over whatever is there already.

Edit: Also to the OP, you didn't quite specify anything about your Wii so if you're on 4.0 you may need to follow this guide instead:

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=144835

Follow the offline portion up to step 10 then follow the online guide up to step 3 if you just want to stay at 3.2

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
