@Loopguy: Add perspective to the Wii text on HDD and make the reflection reflect only the front of the drive, it doesn't look good that way. Or remove the reflection altogether, if you want to keep the shadow. Other than that, that's exactly how it should be!

But i think my problem is the makefile

i would personally advise grabbing Nickasa's ubuntu if its still around

its all ready to go

you could probably even run it in VM or VirtualPC if you need to.

I couldn't compile until I changed the makefile.

You need to comment out these two lines (or you could just delete them)

DEVKITPROÂÂÂÂ=ÂÂÂÂ/opt/devkitPPC
DEVKITPPCÂÂÂÂ=ÂÂÂÂ/opt/devkitPPC

Afterwards if it isn't painfully obvious enough on how to do that

Compiled it myself, seems to work (although I don't have a usb hdd)

Does this use the 1.1 with the ntsc video patch? like the USB-Loader_v1.1-NTSC480i.dol (the one that forces ntsc for pal games)

too complicated, there's no tutorials telling you what image sizes you need etc.

why does it need 3 images though?

icon = this is the image you see when you are at the home screen with all your channels
logo = this is the small horizontal file equal to that used in the homebrew channel

however with abit of playing you can use the same image for all

Hopefully there will be a new USB Loader version which loads the background from an external image which could be replaced easily. Or maybe an option to change between the themes.

Can someone help me out? Theres alot of great channels in this thread but I like some parts of this and some parts of that one. Is there a way to decompile a wad to extract the banner, sound, icon, and logo?

What version of wadder are people using? I downloaded 2.2 and I dont see an option to browse for icon
