A version of this game would be absolutely brilliant on the DS or Wii. I am tempted to say a well developed version could open commercial opportunities for anyone who develops it. The game can be found here.

I loved this game, but I think it's not worth the trouble of porting it to the DS, it is way too short with little to none replay value.

A direct port would not be the best of ideas, things would need to be spiced up. More levels, make more use of the touchscreen. Perhaps a sandbox level editor.

I agree,I remember playing this ages ago and loved it.

I hope someone does port it,I would myself if I wasn't completely useless at coding.

Took me a few tries to beat it, got it eventually.
If someone was to make thier own levels with the same concept that'd be awesome
And like maybe a map of all the floors on the top screen

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
