I think when I bought mine I got version 2.1E.

The biggest risk you can get when you buy a new console today is D2C2 chip, but hey. Good news if you wan't to mod it. There are modchips to fix that!

luckily mine hasnt needed to be repaired for all the time iv had it (since release date) and most of the time i dont run updates, i was about to update it when i recieved the message about it. thank god i didnt. means i can still run the hack.

im so lucky when my wii got screwed up i called ninty and the guy on the phone told us about this place called united radio. that place fixes electronics and ninty systems. i lived like 15 minutes away so i went there and got my wii fixed for free and i only have to wait 20-30 minutes!

Btw, my FW was NOT Updated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Off Topic: my computer is not detecting my camera anymore, and thats what i use to put homebrew on my sd card.
i have another camera, and my PC detects it, but i cant make new folders or copy files. my sd cards not set to lock, either.
any answers will be awesome!!!

I did but I had to format the wii before i sent it in for repair.
