Anyways, I never really got an answer to my question: does this get as far as running the game on an old 3DS?

@PF2M posted about GBA randomly.

I mentioned how 3DS emulation didn't work on my system, and compared that to how this probably wouldn't work on it either. Wasn't trying to start a feud, sorry.

It doesn't run any games on any 3DS yet, just the sliding puzzle demo included with it.

Hum... How to play woith the puzzle on CTRX ???, because, the fonction doesn,t work with me...
X = Horizontal
When i press X, nothing appear...
Hold the button down for a couple seconds.
Also note that the mapping is A = O, B = X, Y = [], X = /\. It's rather strange at first but it physically matches the layout of the PlayStation controller.

To bad it's not multi-touch. If you had the L2/R2/2nd analog on the touch screen you'd only be able to use one at a time. Can we just stop this and just agree you'd need a Circle Pad Pro? They're not even expensive.

Nice insults. Doesn't change the fact that games did make use of them.

Ha....if you thought that was a insult...note the singular...you really need to get out more.

Now...let me prove a point...all my favourite games on the PS1 use the sticks as luxury not a necessity.

Can I play Symphony? Yes...can I play Parappa? Yes...N2O? Yep...metal gear solid? yes....and on it goes.

You see I don't care about Ape Escape.

Yes, but it's so slow it's not playable.
Dear @teampleb, please stop flooding the thread with one (not necessarily wrong but) inflammatory post every one or two posts from other members.
It makes reading the thread a test of patience and tolerance.
I would /ignore you only on this thread if such an option existed.
Although the same could be said of every newb that doesn't know to read the first post and ask if this would run games, or the ongoing senseless discussion about how to press L2/R2 on O3DS for the -no game that works right now and would require it-. If you want to discuss what movies to watch on Mars Cinemas, please do it not only after somebody puts his feet on Mars but after colonization has at least started.

Hey, I did read the first post! It didn't say anything about the old 3DS, that's all!

...Also, I've never owned a Playstation, and didn't know anything about a .EXE's relations. Sorry about that, I didn't know that was the actual GAME that wouldn't run.

I probably worded this completely wrong and people are going to think I'm an idiot for missing the point on something. Just move the thread along without me at this point.

Well why don't you answer every damn question then?

It was an insult. He even apologized to me for it. Maybe you need to get out more?

Insults are subjective though....I was apologising for being direct...I still stand by my statement.

It will be so cool when the first ps1 game boots :)

I secretly dread the day the first ps1 game boots because gbatemp will be flooded with even more threads saying now the 3ds boots ps1 games why do we not have working saturn/n64 emu's lol

That's not secret anymore!

P.S. When will we have a working N64 Emulator for the 3DS???:rofl2:

Sorry for bringing up the Saturn after you all were done, but thinking about it doing quads and how the 3DS uses purely triangles, perhaps I'm not seeing how it would be impossible, considering we have access to geometry shaders. As it is, blargSNES handles tile rendering in hardware by taking 4 vertex inputs, and translating them into 2 polygons to form a quad, and not having to emit 6 vertices, but just 4 as it can retain previous-emitted vertices.
