The plugin in your ActionReplay folder is called ActionReplay.plg, right? As far as I'm aware, that is the only case in which it should not be plugin.plg. I don't know whether case matters or not here, but that's how they were written in the main post and what I went with. That your .txt file seems to be erasing itself is odd, and something I have no clue how to help with. Other than that, all I can say is to double check your paths carefully and make sure you're not missing a character.

Yeah it is called ActionReplay.plg. I even tried the TitleID Folder -> with cheats.txt and plugin.plg.
I did find out why the textfile ended up with a 0 filesize. I hit ActionReplay thinking the codes may appear there and hit the + which must have erased what I currently had.

Or upload your text file(with cheat codes) here cuz maybe it has something to do with the codes.

Umm... I got the text file the github :shy::shy:

Yep yep. I have added both the US and EU version just to make sure I'm not using the wrong ID
I checked it, there's nothing wrong with the codes though. Hmm... Maybe try removing this "thing" from your text file and see if it works;
Code:
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King (USA)
Downloaded From Fort42: GateShark

Credits and instructions:

That doesn't cause any issues.

@Lindraden try the actionreplay from this post here *Wont let me post Links..*

Same issue. It doesn't show any codes.

Same problem with other games that use text files (fire emblem shadows of valentia). I have Pokemon Ultra Sun working with the actual plugin.

You know you need to tap on the Action Replay button on the bottom, right?

Luma Loader. I have copied the boot.firm in and turned the plugin on in the Rosalina menu.
Gonna need a screenshot of your SD:/cheats/ folder then, because as long as the Title ID is correct, it should just work. Verify the title ID of the game in FBI (make sure you didn't install a different version by mistake).

Here you go :) Thank you for all your help!

I'm sure it's just something I've missed or stuffed up somewhere... I even went to update my B9S....

Can you attach your .txt file here? Could be a formatting error with the codes. Given where you got it from that shouldn't be the issue, but checking doesn't hurt. You could also try loading it in Nanquitas' NTRPluginManager. I've had a few .txt files that for some reason made my system crash until they went through that. Never did find out what exactly it changed, but it did get it working. Not the same issue you're having, but it shouldn't cause any problems either.

I am sorry all. Please ignore my stupidity. I have worked out what was wrong using the NTRPluginManager. As I right clicked on the text file and saved it instead of going into the Text file and copied it. It downloaded some weird code looking thing. After I copied and pasted it it worked fine....

Again..Sorry and thank you for your help

Hmm I actually just looked myself, looks like github went and changed something once again!! -.- as you used to be able to just right click and save as. Now it looks like if you want to do save as they require you to go to the raw. Wish github would stop changing things around so much >.>

@Nanquitas the plugin loader built into luma crashes in luma updater/fbi/freeshop and i assume other homebrews.

Processor: ARM11 (core 0)
Exception type: data abort
Fault status: Translation - Section
