Well, why are you even using it?
If it's just for online multiplayer, you can get the same result (even better, since you won't need to launch it each time) by updating your CFW (if it has a friends version patch) or the "friends" driver...!
Not if you use gateway :) .. I dislike CIA and prefer roms

This doesn't work for me at all. When I try to use it (latest version btw, boot9strap Luma3DS CFW 11.3.0-36E), it says:

Reboot your system then try again.
Haxx setup failed: 0xc8a0f842.
An error occured. Press the START button to exit.

No matter what I do or how many times I reboot, the same error message keeps popping up.

EDIT: Nevermind. Turns out the error message was false.

Yeah is not working and I don't want to update when Nintendo release the ver 11.6 cuz you know, the payloads xD

Seems that this doesn't work on Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. I have a PAL cartridge version and when I boot it, I see the 3D light go off then back on as if the console sorta rebooted itself. I assume it's the same way for other extended memory games since this game uses extended memory.

Just update to 11.5 and be done with it.

FFS, that's not the point of this thread though. Not to mention 11.5 probably breaks some stuff (it completely breaks ctr-httpwn). Imagine if 11.6 came out and completely broke something I needed, how would I play online then without updating and never being able to use that app again?

There is no specific point to this thread it was started over a year ago to showcase ctrhttpwn for those that didn't know about it. 11.5 is the exact same update as 11.4 and yes the program was patched. The dude gave good advice, if you already have CFW there is no reason not to update your system; period. There is nothing "broken" by the update itself and B9S cannot be patched. If you're on 11.3 or below and refuse to update because you want *HaX* and also adamantly refuse CFW then what the hell do you expect? Things are going to get broken and you're just going to have to deal with it.

It's like driving a model from 1990 and refusing to buy something newer 20 years later then getting pissed because they don't make parts for your car anymore. You're either going to have to go through tons of hoops to get the parts, deal with it broken or you know just buy the new car.

i'd rather have my car broken down lol jk

Fine, I will update to the latest firmware, jfc. I wonder if NTR can get permanently patched though, or is that not possible? (hopefully the latter).
