That little trick with the LED lite on was cool.. I ended up putting that little jumper wire in just like the video showed....it took about 5 minutes to do it... I don't care about it being on all the time...If I get sick of it..I can just pull it loose later... but w/ all the leds I have in my cockpit...what's one more, right!?

Anyone checked out that new homebrew that was posted on Brekken's site?! (TehSkeen) Looks like you can customize your homebrew a little more w/ different skins and stuff...

plus he's been working on his "dashboard" for the "prelude cSM 3.4"... so it will totally be worth the wait

The Wii libraries, and headers are written in C, the ones you get with devkitpro.
But you can write your own wii programs in C++.

If you know C++, you already pretty much know most of C. The biggest difference is that C is classless, so if you just write any app without classes, it'd be almost totally C based. There's a few minor things you'd have to change/learn, but if you're hellbent on learning C then you'd pick them up anyways.

Oh, and no templates, and no stl containers. Which pretty much also means no iostream based objects.

Things have been really quiet lately Fors... I remember this is how Gamma popped up.... the dust had finally settled for .3b and then poof! Magic time! So I get the feeling the dust is settling again... and soon as the smoke has cleared... We may just be feasting upon your cSM prelude. I know that I am excited.. It always feels like xmas around here.. between the backup loader, emulators and WiiLinux Whiite... I have been really overwhelmed. And of course there is the BootMii from our anti-personable Marcan.. great coder/bad social skills. But I think he's working on both a little more from what I see...so I will give him a break.. we're all just trying to have some fun with this world of wii.
