From what I can tell, it depends on some weird-ass commercial libraries/SDKs, so unless someone can replace them, no. Not to mention Crysis itself is not open source.

Does not matter if the game is open source or not. You do not port the game, you port the engine and use official game data files.

could work but i dont think that its possible to obtain as much time as 1 person where complete studios need years.
so tech yes
and reality i dont think so
