Awesome ! I was waiting for Nintendont! Has anybody with skills try to compile first version for test? I am not common on Wii Homebrew.

But first of all we must know what is done and what is not working. I do not have knowledge of compiling wii homebrew. Anybody wanna try? or give me some tuturial and I'll test it for my fun :)

I have question about what files will be supported on Nintendont - same as on DIOS-MIOS (it is best for memory save) or like on Devo (full size ISO 1.4GB);

emmanu888 it is possible that someone with skill could polish Nintendont - now it possibly is real sign of hope because sources are revealed.

ZOMG this is awesome :)

Shame he didnt finish it, but its a great start for someone to pick it up from :)

Cant wait to see this flourish.

Ok, I've searched sources I must said it is damn good piece of code. This revision r2 is different than know Zelda's version because I found some interesting addons that "probably" Crediar tested another games and probably after compiling code games like Pokemon Chanel, Kirby Air Ride, Chibi-Robo, Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart, Double Dash, Mario Sunshine. This is simple examination of this source https://code.google.com/p/nintendont/source/browse/trunk/kernel/Patch.c

I do not know it for sure, but probably also for now only FAT32 will be supported.

Probably we have also get fist compiled version because some sources was updated 60 min ago so - I am happy to test it when it will be ready :)

I suppose the fact that every game seems to require specific hacks is also a possible reason it was abandoned. Real pain to go through all 600+ games from all regions and ensure they work.

Yes, but good to know that for now that list of games is supported. It is good for "supporters" as users etc to update source adding hack using this pattern :)

Having a patch for a game in the sources doesn't mean the game is playable or working, only that he tried to make it launch at any given time while working on it.
Some games could start but freeze after logo/Title Screen/etc.
Some users already saw the result by putting Zelda's GameID into another game's ISO with the alpha and it either didn't work or had horrible sound because only DSPv0 is (almost fully) working.

So, my attempts to compile this have resulted in a kernel file (and as such, a resulting dol file) that is around 400MB in size, which doesn't seem right. When I look at it in a hex editor it is pretty much all 00s. The only warnings I was getting upon compiling were about unused variables, so I am not sure what is up...

fix the linker script or switch to a different version of devkitARM. the first option has been waiting for ages to be done

I bought my WiiU a few months ago only for Nintendon't.

Maybe we can compile the sourcecode and play a few titles? Is it possible?

i have download the r4 loader.dol on my wii (not wiiU), i get kernel error (ISI error)

I've tested loader same as structure on google code page x:\apps\nintendont\data\kernel.bin <-here x:\apps\nintendont\boot.dol <-here Also I've created xml file and icon. Nintendo show up, tried up to boot it up it started and stoped at screen with prompt about AHBProt that should be disabled. I have 1.1.0 Homebrew Chanell so I think that AHB should be implemented right? Or it is fault of DIOS-MIOS installed on my Wii? I do not know... any sugestions? If anyybody have some sort of idea what else could be wrong I am ready to test ideas :)

I've tested also possibility of boot Nintendont loader via Wiiflow's file explorer and it returned DSI error...
