Hacking Crazy coloured screen on snes channel...

So I launch the snes channel from my wii menu for the first time and it asks me to press 1 and 2 on my wiimote. Then it connects and displays the screen its supposed to for about a second....then ZAP! it displays like a whole paragraph of tiny words on the bottom part of the screen for another second and all I could see were the words 'bad checksum' then que the crazy colours >_> help?

bad checksum is most likely a bad rom file.
try another rom or try running it on the pc version to see if it is working properly.

When you press 1 and 2 with the wiimote you keep them pressed to long and select "Play Rom" with no rom loaded.
As soon as it vibrates release the buttons.

Edit: Nevermind. Just not used to the emu. Loading up a rom, going back to the emu's main menu, then doing your thing is just odd in my head.
