EDIT 2: Nvm got it to work.

Just navigate through a few menus such as the system menu then go back to the game and it will give you 99,999,99
Got it to work thank! Took me awhile. First i tried going to all the menus, no help

. Second time i just stayed in system menu, pushed a bunch of buttons saved settings, went back to main menu (garage, save etc.) when back into system and pushed a bunch of buttons, saved settings and when i went back to game had buncha cash.
EDIT: Looks like the cash randomly comes. I was editing my bots pose, went back to game, my cash went back to maxed.

So, were you unsucessful in creating the YGO WC 2007 trainer as I was?

Yeah, it's being a pain in the ass. The area of the game that I need to put the trainer into is compressed it appears. So for now it looks like I can't do much.

You apply codes directly on ROM.. but ther's not a way to edit directly the .sav file? When i open a . sav in text editor it is encrypted..opening it with an HEX editor there is not a way to put codes in it?
Any tool for decrypt view and edit savegame files?

Good work so far but I've a request though. What are the chances of a DKR patch? It's getting laborious raising cash for the upgrades! Thanks in anticipation.

Could you add the unfinished YGO WC 2007 trainer here?

You could delete off tons of languages in the rom to make space for it, be it compress or not, so I would wish to try.

@Mecreg most games have different save files, you will not get far with notepad either so it is a hex editor or a premade editor (list is by no means definitive):

Final Fantasy 3 has a bunch of editors, the best one in my opinion:

YuGiOh games also have an editor or two:

Regarding save game hacking though most saves are hashed/checksummed and what that hash/sum is and the sections it hashes can vary from game to game.

Anyhow you have two options:
make several saves each with a minute difference to pinpoint the has and what sections do what.
Use an emu to monitor calls/writes to save space, or use an emu to load an existing save, edit a value and save it back into the save.

Also I would copy and paste but this thread might help:

Found the problem with the Lunar Knights trainer patch. IPS can't handle anything over the first 16MB so it didn't see any differences to patch.

Used Xdelta to create a patch so it will work properly now. Keep Xdelta on hand too since I'm hoping to start making patches that are less destructive and add onto the end of the binaries and these patches will be huge if not for Xdelta.

Before anyone asks xdelta 101:
XDelta download page That version is for windows although it originally was a linux app and I believe there is a mac version around somewhere as well.

The syntax is as follows xdelta patch (patchname) (original file) output file)

Here is the command line I gave with my NSMB translations:
Code:
rename *.nds NSMB.nds
xdelta patch TRANS2.patch NSMB.nds NSMBfre.nds

With regard to a GUI the NINJA2.0 betas had a kind of frontend (you needed the xdelta app in the same dir) but things are a bit hazy regarding its present state: http://ninja.cinnamonpirate.com/

The lunar knights xdelta patch doesn't work either. It just produces a copy of the .nds file with the same CRC (B74EB813).

I'm using a clean, untrimmed rom, and the version of xdelta from the link FAST6191 posted.

thanks it works, what it does is create two files, it takes your clean lunar knights rom and makes a copy of it, and renames it to lk.nds, that is your new clean rom, it then makes a patched lunar knights rom named, cr-lkp6.nds, that is your patched file.

step 1 download the xdelda.exe

here.
http://www.badongo.com/file/2562877

unzip it into a folder along with the patch, and your clean rom and run cr-lkp6.bat, it will do the rest, just remember that it creates a new clean rom and a patched one, put the cr-lkp6.nds on your flash cart and just delete the lk.nds one.
