How do I change the order in which the games are displayed?

On my MSD, the games are in alphabetical order.

But when I start up coverflow, the order is mixed up..

I remember I ordered everything on my MSD once, and the games showed up fine in coverflow, but when I got some new games, they showed up at the end of the coverflow list..

I have r4 III with 3.11 firmware installed.I have YSmenu and DScovered installed along with moonshell 2.5 stable. I have use DScovered R4.nds and Dscovered.nds and nearly every loader but I cant seem to get it to work. The DScovered R4.nds loads but no covers/games come up. Dscovered.nds also loads and shows 2 unknown games. Niether work with any loader. Can anybody help? Please

Did you run DSCovery.exe first to set up your card?

OK, it is reported my cyrrent mshl2tools_r30.7z/bootlib/bootloader/boot.bin works fine on DSTWO.
But before updating bootlib make sure you externalize bootlib

Would the r30 boot.bin work with my r21 setup? I don't really want to haveto re-code the entire DSCovered.nds

Either way though, I couldn't find any info on DSTwo supporting any form of autoboot feature.

Yes, several times. I double clicked on the sd card (G and waited until the list of games populated. Then I updated weblist, Downloaded covers and Updated card. Still doesn't show covers/games. It useed to but it stoped working after I tried DSision 2.

boot.bin can be mixed (r21 code can load r30 bootlib)

you can replace /_dstwo/dstwo.nds with dldipatching.

So I'm trying to using the woodmod... I got the akmenu4 file and the rpg file, put it on the root of my card. Then I renamed the akmenu4 to akmenu. Next i got the d_system file, and put the akmenu4 file on the root of my card. I imported covers, and blah blah..


But when I turn it on, it says DS_MENU is missing...

o.0 Generally when something says _DS_MENU.dat is missing, that means A) You are using an R4 original/sd clone if you can use wood and B) You don't know too much about the R4's setup. (Thus I'll help you out xD)
_DS_MENU.DAT is the first file that will be loaded and is an encrypted .nds file. So, you have to choose what you want as your initial firmware (the one that loads up first) which could be any firmware/homebrew provided it is a working .nds file. Then you need to encrypt it using a tool like 'R4denc' to encrypt the .nds file and then rename it to _DS_MENU.dat. Apart from that, the rest is hopefully easy to figure out (since the rest of it is just placing it on your card and making sure the reference paths are correct).

The setup guide says I need xenon's modded wood firmware.. when I downloaded it instead of getting a DS_MENU nds file, I got an AKMENU4 one..

I put the akmenu4 file and rpg folder on to the root of my card..

then the guide said rename akmenu4 to akmenu. So I did.


Then I got the other akmenu4 file from dscovered and put it on the root of my card.


Then when I turn it on, It says DS MENU is missing. When I never had a ds_menu file in the first place...

I know the original wood R4 firmware has one... but I'm lost..

Sorry for pretty much repeating what I said in the last post..

Look in the DS folder of the DSCovered download, there is a file names _DS_MENU.DAT, copy that to the root of your card. You don't need the akmenu4.nds from DSCovered if you have an original R4.

I did this, and when I go to load a game, I get a screwed up acekard menu with a blue top screen.

Have you accidently pressed L-button? DScover is then in favorites and doesnt show any covers. Try to press L-button again on DScover.

Spinal should add some kind of message to show up if there arent any favorites

When all else fails, backup your games and saves and format the card. Then just start over.

Hmm, thought i did have everything working but now ran into two problems.
One, when i try to load some games it seems to have deleted my save data, and two, when i went to load YSMenu through this to see if the sav files really had gone, it did not work.
I followed the step a few pages back on setting the homebrew to be loaded externally and this just caused it Ysmenu to loop on loading itself

I have not tried Xenon's iniclear.nds as; one, mediafire is not working here and will not be able to access it until Tuesday and two, what does this even do?

Xenon++'s iniclear edits the .ini file of whatever you are using (woodR4/AKAIO's globalsettings.ini, ysmenu.ini, etc.) so that when you use ysmenu, akaio, woodR4, etc. it doesn't autoboot straight to the last game played.

OK so I have not tried this on an Acekard 2i yet, I have an acekard 2i with akAIO 1.6 rc2.Is there a pack for the ackard somewhere?Is there a pack with almost every boxart out there? Does it support sdhc?

You can use loader_akaio.nds...
And yes, SDHC is supported (with my modified bootlib)

so ok i dl got it to run on akaio now how come no games launch when i tell them to ? is that a function that needs to be implemented?

To set akaio for primary kernel, just use my iniclear.nds...

No external ROM loading in dstwo. That's why I won't buy dstwo.
