So when Mario Maker 3DS was announced, we all got hyped, then let down when we heard no online play. The real bummer for me was no mystery mushroom as that gave so much potential for levels. Then I found out about modding in game files to add stuff like custom costumes and stuff. So I was thinking, could a mystery mushroom mod be possible. Obviously theres a huge gap between a sprite edit and a whole mod but ive seen some pretty amazing things possible in the modding community and I dont think its impossible. If anything, just a add on to the mushroom or something im thinking. I dont know. I know some stuff about homebrew but get a little off when it comes to modding so you tell me. Would it be possible for a mystery mushroom mod adding in all the costumes?
