Hacking Corrupted WADs after SoftMii installation.

Hey there. Straight ahead:

I just installed SoftMii to resolve disk-channel booting problems with MadWorld. I load isos with flatmii.
Woohoo! It works.

But suddenly some of my wiiware titles (WADs installed via WAD manager) give me the "An error has ocurred etc." message. Not all though. (D-Pad Hero works, but is not really wiiware iirc)
Reinstalling does not help.
Also, returning to the sysmenu from the photo channel and said D-Pad Hero causes a completely unresponsive black screen.

History of this Wii:

Foolishly upgraded to 3.4E
Downgraded using the October 23rd fix tutorial on here
Installed said WADs and the missing IOSs for MadWorld
Installed SoftMii
Present time

Any ideas?

Are you sure you chose the correct region when downgrading.That would cause games not to load.

i would use the tweak tool and install an original 00000042.app file which should help your issues. If not then maybe a complete reinstall

Only if you dont follow directions properly.

And besides, SoftMii is just a package of applications.

Which part of SoftMii bricks?

- Using Any Region Changer?
- Installing Preloader?
- Messing around with CIOSCORP / mIOS?
- Using the SoftMii tweak to install the custom system theme?

They all can do damage if not properly reading the instructions.

So, I'm really confused now. I updated to 3.4E again. (to remove all changes made by SoftMii and Mii hehe)
Then I downgraded to 3.2E
This time, I then installed MiiWii to try something different
The problem persists

How can that be?

EDIT: Ok, it works again, after using AnyRegionChanger to install 3.2E anew.
Now I'm pondering trying to get newer games to work from the disk channel again. Oh well...

I'M sorry I have to bump this, but I can't seem to get this to work stable.
All Wiiware titles give me this an error has ocurred message. Bit Tip Beat just reboots to the sysmenu, but that's a missin ios i guess, so it would probably give this error too.
Any Regon Changer downloads but then fails with error 1017 when installing. I have the sysmenu wad, but installing it does not change anything but removing starfall.

Please help me fix this. I have searched my ass off.

EDIT: Installing cIOS249rev8 fixed it, but then installing ios53 for bit trip beat broke it again. Uninstalling ios53 doesn't revert it.
