Hacking Corrupted Micro SD card

My micro SD card just stopped working. This is the second time my R4 has broken a micro SD card... Except this time, my computer had the option of reformating the micro SD card, so it's working, I just need to reupload everything.

Is it normal for this to happen, at all? Should I look into ordering a new R4?

check if you have R4 that come with old micro SD reader, that's your problem.
also make sure you always safely remove microSD on windows.

I believe that it's the new one, though I'm not sure...

And it wasn't from the reader, because this is what happened up until it froze:

1. I was playing Phoenix Wright 3. I soft reset, then open up one of my folders, and it freezes.

2. I turn my DS on and off, and then the R4 boots to "micro SD card error". Or something close to that, I forgot what.



And yeah, I tried turning it on and off, removing it and putting it back in, ect. Didn't work.

What brand is it? PNY microSD cards usually corrupt a lot.
