Hi there!

Been trying to help someone retrieve a full system vita backup that keeps failing restoring from his SuperSlim PS3. Due to the system being a SuperSlim, the easiest path is not open to us (downgrading, installing CFW and simply retrieve using FTP or copy with multiman to a USB device), so decided on giving HAN a try.

I've tried recreating the process on one of my Slims (so not a perfect recreation, but should hopefully achieve quite similar results), and were able to successfully retrieve a Vita backup file using the HAN Toolbox File explorer to identify user ID and map out the folder structure, and then simply writing out the paths with filename to the offline file copier. This failed several times before it worked, so might not be the most stable of processes, but worked out for me.

Now, trying to guide him though the same process, and it seems the PS3 freezes most of the times he tries, and when it doesn't it just simply say "Exploit initialization failed!". Just to test, I instructed him to enable HAN, and that too seems to freeze the system.

Anyone seen this behaviour, and more importantly, anyone know how to improve the situation?
