so its the crossover cable connect from pc/laptop to ps3 and have ps3ftp running on ps3 and a client on pc and should see the directory?
Make sure your FTP program on the PS3 states that it is active, then open FileZilla on PC/laptop and enter the correct info into the quick connect bar at the top (put in IP address of your PS3, FTPD12345 as user name, port 21, password can be anything). I'm still using the first FTP program that was released since the blackb0x FTP release gave me some problems. As soon as you click quick connect, you should see a directory listing pop up in the right window that leads to all of your PS3 data. I don't know if others had an issue, but I first tried dragging and dropping a folder from one window to another when I wanted to transfer. This didn't work so well with one game so I ended up using right-click and selecting add to queue and then processing the queue (with the destination directory in the other window!) and that works great with everything.
