GBATemp is one of the most polite boards I come on to be fair, this thread would have come in for a lot more stick elsewhere. I remember seeing the merciless responses on another board when someone made a thread posting screen grabs of counter strike to show how great his new monitor was. It wasn't pretty.

EDIT: Plugged it into my computer and it charged too! This is awesome.

EDIT 2: Tried plugging it into a banana and it didn't seem to charge. This needs further research.

I plugged it into a lemon with a copper and a zinc rod stuck into it. They say this can produce electricity. Didn't work. Ha! So much for "science". I'm off to find a frog and prove Volta wrong.
