This is solely to export egg infomation from XY/ORAS. Vital for TSV/ESV Community :) easier access and quicker essentially.
Not that easier , you have to break they key something if you didn't do it.
Just extract the save and use wireless app to send the save file to PC.

Hi!~

I was wondering, if someone knew or could help me compile a .3dsx file into .cia format, ill provide the following infomations I have regarding what app it is including the original source of it~

https://www.reddit.com/r/SVExchange/comments/3zjjtg/new_tool_for_checking_pokemon_using_homebrew/#ht

Thank you, any help is welcome/advise~

You can't convert a 3dsx file to CIA directly. If you can instead get your hands on the ELF file (which you can, since the app has source code on Github), you can convert that into a CIA file.

I have compiled it, let me know if it works. It requires the "data" folder to be on the root of your sd card or under the 3ds folder, like the homebrew app.

Thank you so much!

I will test it very shotly to confirm for you!~

EDIT 1: Read what you said, going to go over it~

When opening the app it said as follows:

"Getting SD Card handle
Opening SD Card archive
Init FS Failed
Failed to load file personal
Press A to return to the homebrew menu"

I looked at the code, it seems that it reads the files under "data" at "/3ds/BoxDumper/data". I put the files there and launched it and it doesn't load them. This seems like it would take more than just compiling it as a cia to work unfortunately.

It relies on the homebrew menu and starting under a Pokemon game to get to its save data.
