So, since I don't want to vanish and kind of revert the thread to its previous situation... I guess I'll comment a little bit.
TBH I haven't advanced much since the last time, due to lack of time... On the bright side, I don't need to wait for the previous tools to arrive, as I now pretty much understand how the entire game works.

Now, I gotta say that I'm working on other (at least, deppending on how you count) four projects, and even though they aren't really a priority, I tend to waste a lot of time just deciding on which one to work at each time.
Still, I think I'm gonna check the Vita version before getting into full production mode on this one.

...
That would be nice if you can import the story too . If you can i think i dont mind wait little longer

using emulator for the first time is a bit confusing, but when u get the hang of it, it feels like that it's easier than using the psp (in my personal opinion), I still my psp but it's broken (inflated bateries, missing memory card, and the switch to turn it on is ALSO non functional for some reason ;-; ) well, that's it for now have a nice day guys

Using emulator is easy yes ^^
I just couldn`t make the online gaming possible...
Using this emulator in general is super simple, yet I still prefer my psp while it`s still alive XD

@SkyBladeCloud I could help with the repack. Seriously, I am a developer, but I am not a good hacker.
Would you mind creating a sheet about the filesystem? something with simple draws or anything I can understand.

What do you mean by "recursive" If it points to the same sector it will do reiterate forever..... I have lost something...

Again, when you talk about "LBA" you really mean this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logical_block_addressing right?

At the moment I have not enough tech details to read that filesystem.

I have even more questions, technical.... all of them.

Hi Guys I am new in this forum.
Do you think we can translate the game using only the new PPSSPP with "save textures"? I just translated this "Att: Blade, Att: Gun, and Avg. Defense".

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
