as far as i have read, you can't actually interact with each other, but the island gets bigger with every visitor, and you can leave (spoken?) messages for the other guys, plus you get items that can only be acuired in wifi-mode.

that's what i have read, dunno if it's true. guess we have to find out *hint*

when you made contact with some you dl their character info into your DS, next time you visit the wifi island, you get to see an Avatar of the other character, if you talk with them they may give you a skill or item.

I dont have my ds with me, but i can post my FC when i get home.
