As my primary genre is JRPG, I prefer consoles. PC is better for things like simulation, strategy, and FPS, but I don't play those genres all that often.

You know uh, Alienware is mostly overpriced stuff, like Bose or Skullcandy. Building one yourself is significantly cheaper, and it really isn't all that hard. Still, it will cost more than a standard console.

So all of what you are saying is that....you don't like the 360's subscription fee (yes, you do have online fees *cough* WoW *cough*), that arguably illegal emulators exist (take a long time to perfect, and rely on the hard work of others with nothing in return), and that it's better for meta-game things like mods and such that have no purpose other than the novelty factor...

Don't be a fanboy (that goes to everyone in this thread). PCs and consoles are, for all serious purposes, the same. You can use many USB controllers on a PC, and consoles (at least the 360) can use keyboards / mice for some games (pacman CE DX for example). The only real differences are the fact that most large-budget produces tend to favor consoles due to the large install base, and pricing tends to be a bit different --- at least, it tends to be in a different format (you may have to upgrade your computer multiple times over the next 5 years, where you only get a new console once every 5 years - no difference).

Like I said, it's all down to the end user. Computers can do anything, practically anywhere. Consoles are limited to TVs, fixed outlets, cables, etc. I enjoy consoles infinitely better than computers when it comes to gaming. Consoles can do everything out of the box. No internet required. Computers require software, internet and many other things to be fully enjoyed. Very few people in today's world can get quality internet where they live. Right off the bat for them to have computers with illegal emulators, and an ample supply of roms and such you need internet. Seriously I wouldn't game on the computer if I didn't have internet, it's a simple fact.

The gaming experience, the "original feeling" of holding a console and the price. If you can tell me why computer beat these 3, I lose.

The gaming experience of the console is good. Cant argue with that but the pc has its own experience especially rts and fps games.
The 'original feeling' thing is just meh. Cant argue with that too but the pc has originality too.
The price is also meh coz a console is design for gaming but a pc is the jack. Quantity is better than quality.

"omg i can't afford a $10000 gaming computer" Cheapest console is $200 right? Grab a $150 graphics card and a $50 PSU, put that into your PC, bam gaming PC.

"consoles have better graphics" nope. average console game is low res textures, low poly models, shit shadows, draw distance, no anti aliasing at 1024x600 (pretty much no console games are HD anymore) with the $150 graphics card I mentioned above, you could easily play with maxed textures, models, shadows, 32x anti aliasing etc on most games at 1920x1200. i have a graphics card you can get for $50 now and it has about 3x the power of the graphics card in consoles

"but i need a controller" no you dont. you have just gotten used to the auto aim that consoles give you. even on multiplayer. keyboard and mouse will always be more accurate and even comfortable. i played cod with my friends on console, sore thumb for hours using that damn controller. even if for some reason you want a controller (if you say anything other than racing game, rpg, or platform, you are wrong) you can use one on pc.

This I disagree with, I don't know what auto aim you're talking about, but comfort and better accuracy for me comes in the form of a controller. And while I could get it for PC, what's the point of paying extra for it when it comes free with the console, which I already prefer.
