So I was trying to change my thermal paste for cpu and rsx. In the process of disassembling, the cable for the fan was really tightly connected and I slowly and gently tried to wiggle it out and it looks like the connector on the motherboard has loosened up a little and partly disconnected..
I havent actually tested the ps3 to see if it is still working, not sure if I wanna risk frying my cpu/rsx.
Have I completely screwed this up or is there some way for me to fix this, like by soldering the connector back to the motherboard?
EDIT: Found a video tutorial to fix it, if anyone has the same issue watch this
