I was wondering if it would be possible to connect to a user ran server using switch-lan-play in Minecraft Bedrock?

I assume the theoretical process would be like this: (Correct me, if I am wrong anywhere.)

  1. Setup your Switch & Computer for Lan-Play.
  2. Create a relay server on your computer using the switch-lan-play server software. (https://github.com/spacemeowx2/slp-server-rust)
  3. Connect to that relay using the lan-play software.
  4. Next thing that would be done is to fool the switch into thinking that the server software is a another switch running in ad-hoc mode.
I am not sure if this is possible though.
  5. Finally Connect to the user and join the Server.
The only thing that is left to do is:
Find a way to fool the Switch into thinking that they are connecting to another Switch whereas in fact it is a Dedicated Server.
