Homebrew Connecting DS to Emulator for New Super Mario Bros

I've had the urge to play the Mario vs Luigi game mode but I only have 1 DS and I was wondering if it was at all possible to connect my DS to an emulator on the PC

Yes. You can use a DS console and melonDS, though the game will require a WiFi connection, and your console would need to be on either a WEP or Open network.
