what you want to check is the date it was created.

as you can see from the screenshot, 'r118' was built 9 days later than the r159 date. the forum post is to show that 'r118' was the latest devolution available to download; r168 was released weeks later from the linked post.

this is where i got my copy of r160

I used v160 devolution as recommended above however it keeps on asking for the original disk. USB Loader GX does not have this issue.

Does anybody know how to rip multi-disc games with cfg loader? I'm having trouble with code veronica?

I haven't tried myself so I don't remember if CFG separates the disks automatically or not. You might have to rip disc 2 first then go in and change the file name from game.iso to disc2.iso and then go back into CFG and rip disk 1. That should get it working with DM(L) v2.6

Thanks but I should have mentioned that I use Devolution.

I just tried ripping disc 2 with this method and cfg loader refused. So, I'm ripping disc 1. Once that's done, I'll try it with clean rip. I won't be able to test it until I get a disc 2 save, which could take awhile.

Does anybody know if I'll have to verify disc 2 later?

Whenever CFG USB LOADER rips a dual layer game onto my FAT32 HDD, it splits the layers in two different 4GB files, my question is, how do I split a ISO myself on my computer?

You don't.
You should use a program like Wii Backup Manager that will split the iso automatically when performing the transfer to the USB drive ( if set to Fat32 or NTFS ) by creating a folder and creating 2 wbfs files if the ISO is larger then 4GB.
