I think it's not needed, I will disable Sam&Max fix when hermes cios is used and that's it i guess.
Oh but yes it would be good if you can test it afterwards to confirm that it's working.

I have tested both a4 dols -- runs like a charm.

I don't know if this is important, but I have a few games on my USB drive that apparently have too many cheat codes (Tales of Symphonia for example)... Your downloading function will get the codes and save the .txt, but once saved it freaks saying too many codes and won't let me select any of them.

hey ogg, im having a strange issue with these rev69's.. the settings file for cfg keeps getting corrupted randomly on my ntfs drive for no reason and i have to keep chkdsking it to clear it out, and only the setting file gets corrupted.. nothing else is.. any ideas?

I was having the same issue. I had to go back to using my SD Card.

Just wondering if you noticed my question regarding games with "Too many cheat codes"...

Why does it freak if the number of codes is >256?

Out of curiosity, how do you try to store the code data when the .txt file is read? Using arrays or structures? If you don't mind sharing that part of the code, I might be able to "tweak" it... Arrays, data structures, and logic loops (if/else, do/while/until, etc) are what I am good at in C/C++... I am clueless about network sockets and graphics display, but if it deals with data, I can figure it out... (I spent a few years during the 1990s as a "Coding Gnome" of a mud game on the net...)

hey ogg, im having a strange issue with these rev69's.. the settings file for cfg keeps getting corrupted randomly on my ntfs drive for no reason and i have to keep chkdsking it to clear it out, and only the setting file gets corrupted.. nothing else is.. any ideas?

I have been having this same issue for a while. I posted about it in the past. I am not quite sure what causes it but I then have to put the drive on to my windows system and chkdsk to fix it.

They are samsung 1.5 tb drives.

I'm not sure if this will make it work, but it should at least be able to mount fat/ntfs/ext, it needs more testing.

I don't know what causes this, i can try changing it so that the file is saved in 1 single write instead of each line separately, maybe it will help, ... in one of next versions...

Maybe it's a corrupt master file table on the drive ?
