Sometimes the network will not initialise correctly if you jump in and out of the HBC or forwarders too quickly.jopplehead said:I am a noob on the Configurable USB Loader... I have tried searching this on google with no luck, Why do the + - 1 and 2 keys not work on the main screen. I want to bring up config... but the key does nothing. Any ideas?
Have you reconfigured those buttons or added the simple=1 option to config.txt by any chance? And what do you mean by "bring up config"? The default button actions for those buttons are:
+ : install game
- : main menu
1 : game options (press again for global options)
2 : toggle favourites mode
Most of the options are not settable within the loader, but instead in config.txt. To edit those, you use the Configurator application for Windows that comes with Cfg.
after each update requests to restart the program, restarted the standard does not work online, after the second reboot everything is OKSOS-Rens said:Just a stupid comment but I don't like te new Start up screen with only three letters CFG, I really like the older one. Or is the new start up screen only with the Beta versions
You can choose from a few others with the intro option via meta.xml. Use the Configurator to set the option and launch with either the HBC or the meta.xml supporting forwarder in the first post.

I've had my Wii modded for about a year now and have been playing burned DVDs fine. I wanted to try using a portable because it seemed more effecient. I put the USB loader on my SD card so I can select it from my HBC. I have the actual usb-loader folder on my portable so it can read the boxarts and such faster. I formatted my portable to FAT32 using partition manager pro 9.0, and used Wii Backup Manager to put the files on my portable. The only thing in the root of my portable is a usb-loader folder, and a wbfs folder.
Did I do anything wrong here? Can someone give some help please?
Try plugging in the drive during the timeout countdown. Try one of the -222 versions of Cfg. Try putting your apps directory on the drive and see if HBC can launch the dol from there (HBC will automatically select the drive if the SD isn't plugged in, or you can push 1 and manually select the drive).bigredcape said:I am not sure which file to download? should I download all of them and place them in the root of my SD card? any help would be greatly appreciated. I am already running
USB Loader Gx
cIOSXrev19
DOP-Mii
FCE Ultra GX
IOS58
and nearly all of my backups play very well, except for NBA JAM and BlackOps. I bought Goldeneye the same day and that game works fine, even on WiFi works perfectly. I was told that I should use a configuarbale USB Loader but I am afraid to it would erase everything and render all my games inoperable. I could manually load BlackOps and NBA Jam but it's easier just to scroll through my games and click on the one I want to play. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
Installing Cfg is easy, and if you want the best setup for it, just follow this page of this tutorial. All games that you already put onto your drive will remain. The loaders all use the same formats.

Launched and exited multiple times (10+) with multiple wiimotes and have not seen any further crashes. Additionally I had seen the shifted hourglass image previously, and looks like that's also fixed now. Thanks.oggzee said:cfg v61b9 (beta)
* fixed startup with multiple wiimotes
(libogc svn-4463 thanks to tueidj and tantric)
* fixed hourglass image in coverflow mode
unfortunately i didn't have time to test, so please let me know if the above problems are indeed fixed.
Same here, I also did some testing and had no problem with either of these two issues. Thanks a bunch!!buddy said:Launched and exited multiple times (10+) with multiple wiimotes and have not seen any further crashes. Use a different application (perhaps one on PC) to compile the cheat file and store the .gct in the cheats directory.GeekyGuy said:Is there a way to use custom cheats with CFG? If so, can someone walk me through how?
