Well most my problems have been solved. The next problem is dat configurable USB loader is automaticaly trying to mount my USB device as soon as I start the program. When it fails it says that I must be sure that there must be a USB device in port 0.

When the program does help me out a little bit further I can load the game but it freezes while it's loading or after the first (safety) splash screen.

What to do?

Have you tried more than 1 game. Do any games work?

You may have a bad rip, really need more information.

Where did the Disk images come from?

What Custom IOS's you now have installed.

Game Title(s)

Version of CFG Loader?

Size of HDD, and Format type - assuming fat32 here...

I'm understanding that your hard-disk is loaded properly by CFG Loader only few times, am I right?

When are you able to load the hard-disk? That is: which procedure do you carry on when the hard-disk is properly loaded?

Other few questions: which model is your HD? Size? It formatted in... (FAT32/WBFS/NTFS)?

Are you loading from HBC or a forwarder. There was 1 forwarder that if it didn't see a HDD then it would wait a bit and try again.

I can't remember which one it was right now.

Man, how long have I been out of the Wii Scene for.

Definitely like, 6 months minimum..

Just wondering, does the Configurable USB Loader auto update Hermes IOS, or must I install Hermes differently?

Nop it auto updates the loader only. You have to update the cios separately

@ CSI,
Multiple games fail this way, it's not just this one.

One image is downloaded. its a WBFS file 368 mb big. (NSMB)

"What Custom IOS's you now have installed"
Where can I see that?

CFG loader should be the last one since it came with NUSAD. (don't know were to check)

Size of HDD = 2GB it's an usb stick format fat32

What do you mean with proper loaded?
A couple of times when I loaded CFG from USB it automatically loaded the disc and recognized the NSMB image

I don;t know what a forwarder is. I open HBC and then CFG usb loader, which I use to try loading backups.

why do i keep getting this error when i try playing super mario galaxy 2?:

set_frag: -128
ERROR: SetWBFS: -128
thanks!

What cios are you using (249 rev19 or 222 rev4 or 5?)
And what fs (fat / ntfs?)
Is this the only problematic game the others work fine?
try setting debug=1 if it maybe prints some more info...

Hi,
I have a stange problem with Monster Hunter Tri (mht).

So back to the problem. First, this is the log of my sysinfo. Sorry for not using a spoiler but i hadn`t found any in the menue. So here it is.

Now back to the problem. When I start mht everythin ist fine until … i enter a menu. For example the one where you chose to play in a village or a town (single/multiplayer). Or the one where you chose graphic options like much or less blood. And, and thats strange, the wii menu when you press the home button on the Wii controler … ?!?!?!
But what happens? The Wii just freezes after about 2-5 sec. Then it only helps to press reset/powerbutton on the Wii.
Version of CFG:
57b5(beta5)
Options I use in CFG:
VIDTV:on
Anti002 fix:on
IOS:222-nload ((base38) v5.0)
OR
IOS: 223-nload (IOS 37)
(no difference)

Hermes 5.0 installed
CIOS v19
Using uloader by hermes everything is fine.

Has anyone the same strange problem? And what to solve it?

Yes, that is actually your issue. Firstly, you need to use an IOS with a base of IOS37 to play the game. Secondly, that IOS should be either Waninkoko's rev 19 or Hermes' v4. Do not use any v5 version of Hermes' IOS with Cfg, it is not properly supported.

Excuse me for what may seem a simple question but im really struggling here with a couple of things and i seem to be getting ignored so ill give it 1 more go before retiring from this website as it seems im totally invisible!!!!

last request was for understanding the process of ocarina codes via uloader.

but having a couple of games not working on me (-2 error, which again ive asked about and got ignored again) i installed CFGloader as it said it supported loading from disc. when i boot it up it searches for an HDD, i want to load via disc though, so how?

with that not working i also installed wiiflow as in its desription - backups, SD, USB etc

backups im assuming means just that, backups on disc??

again i get -2 error.

ive used loaders from a couple of years ago with wiigator, neogamma, uloader etc. have no problem installing the correct things and never really had issues but now i have them there is no solution for me.

ive used the search function and read many threads for hours on end, day after day, various websites on homebrew looking for answers, googling till i cant google no more.

so can i get some sort of feedback/answer/solution/respose/a twitch a sneeze or even a wink to let me know im not the invisible man here.

many thanks

did you try following Clipper's guides?
here: http://gwht.wikidot.com/

btw, I'm sure someone will come up with a more helpful response...

Hello cracked egg,

I can confirm that your not invisible and that I could read your question.

unfortunately I'm a total noob concerning Wii hacking and I'm afraid I can't help you much further. However I do have a tip for you. I'f you need some more attention you should try to make a topic which will probably be of more help. Also I thought you can't load disc's trough an USB loader.

Good luck with your problems!

* Download of theme preview can be cancelled by holding B (oggzee)

* Moved theme preview images from themes/*.jpg to theme_previews/*.jpg (oggzee)

* Optimizations of coverflow cover selection (usptactical)
(realtime and compressed stencil buffer)

Cracked egg, I think oggzee may have answered your question earlier and you missed it. Somebody certainly asked that question recently and was answered anyway.

In order to use the loader without a hard drive, you need to set it up to use your SD card as the source fore games. To do that, just add the line "device=sdhc" to config.txt. Adding "partition=FAT1" might also save you some time during the loading sequence. You should then be able to access the loader and use the main menu (- button) to access the Disc booting function. Given that you won't necessarily be using games on the drive, you can also add "button_+=boot_disc" to config.txt to make the booting process even faster.

A note about the new values for write_playlog:

The new option description is now: write_playlog = [0], 1, 2, 3.
0=off, do not write to the Wii Message Board log.
1=on, set title based on the value of the language option unless the title in that language is blank where it then uses the English title or the Japanese title (whichever is valid).
2=on, set title to the Japanese title.
3=on, set title to the English title.

In the per-game menu, these options show up as "Off", "On", "Japanese Title" and "English Title" respectively.

The new Configurator supporting this will be out shortly.
