Yes, use the v4 installer for cIOS222: v5 is not supported yet.
Where did you download from the CFG's dol? From this thread?
About Waninkoko's cIOS, it's the "classic" cIOS that installs itself as IOS 249.
I downloaded it from EmuDesc, a Spanish speaking forum I found first. But the OP cited this site later as the original source.

Just came here to report a little bug. Playing my NTSC-U Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (booted with v51 and IOS249 rev17), I noticed the "Reset" function from the "home menu" didn't work. Instead of reseting the game, it resetted my Wii. The same happens when I use the "quit" option inside the game (the one that quits the game to the main menu). At last, when I finished the game and I was prompted to save, it also resetted my Wii. When I loaded the game again, the save was succesfully done.
Therefore, I don't think it's such a big fuss, since there's no harm to the save file, or even to the player's progression (no one would quit or reset unless his/her game was saved). I just reported to make this fact known.

Got it working with my NTSC drive, thanks for the help.
The changes I made were simply renaming the folder from WBFS to wbfs, and I also used configurator to choose NTSC drive in global settings and to ensure 222 MLoad ios was being used.
I think I was already using 222 but I know for sure those setting were the only ones I amended in any way.

spoke too soon. got a message bad adaptive filter and now the program crashes while initialising the covers. I'm now deleting the downloaded covers and downloading fresh versions, as I think that'll fix this error.
btw also updated to the newest version and so far so good. I like the idea of being able to change buttons, especially changing the install remove buttons.

I probably should mention that there is one change for the default operation. Previously, the Guitar Orange button mapped to Home. It now maps to Z.
Also, the pre-existing buttons option directly changes the values of the button_1 and button_B options, and the old home option now affects button_H and the action taken when button_exit is invoked.
