so, to use the fat partition, ios 222 must be used?
IOS222 or IOS223 must be used.

Wow, tnx bro for this super fast response, I was using the wbfs and today format to fat, and when launching something like switching to ios 222 apears and the wiimote turn off, i guess I have a 222 stub.

So installing hermes 222 and or 223 will let me use fat properly right?

Tnx!

cfg v50c (bugfix)
cfg50c.dol
cfg50c-fat.dol
(or online update)
Changes:

* Fixed starting games from SD Card with FAT or NTFS
(No additional SDHC compatibility changes, just making SD work as in v49)

thank you!! I thought it was just me doing something wrong. been trying all day to get a game to load from an sd card.

I have trouble to convert 2 games into wbfs
wbfs_file 2.1

In both cases, I can open the ISO fine with WiiScrubber
wbfs_file prints:

Converting International_Athletics.iso to WBFS
Writing: w:\wbfs/RR8PUJ_International Athletics /RR8PUJ.wbfs
SPLIT 0: no file

0 1 00431A10
error seeking in disc partition: No such file or directory

At the end, I have a folder created, empty
was hard to find the empty folder, cause i didnt saw in batch conversion what files didnt get transfered
so maybe on error it should delete the folder

I think the universal forwarder (UCXF) has a bug. When I copy the loader over to a HDD & save the global settings, it will usually launch the loader from the HDD when I restart it. This works with FAT32 but not NTFS.

i'm having a little bit of trouble playing games. everything's installed fine and the games loaded to my harddrive fine, but when i try to load them with configurable, it says "loading wii game, please wait" and freezes there. any reason why that keeps happening?

i'm using all the latest revisions of homebrew/ios249/configurable on nintendo updated 4.2

thanks a lot for any insight

oh, i'm using a wbfs paritition. i had basically the same problem using usbloader gx, only it didn't give me a loading screen, just a black one.

If you updated through nintendo (not a safe updater) it stubs(breaks) IOS249. Try reinstaling 249 again.

For Lego Rock Band and Guitar Hero Metallica. When I try to use the "wbfs_file.exe" to convert them for my fat partition these are the errors they give me:

Split 0: No file

error seeking in disc partition: Invalid argument

These games work just fine on my wbfs partition. Any ideas?

Is this with wbfs_file 1.9 or 2.1? Can you try both?
Can you try also Wii Backup Manager and the wwt tool to do the conversion, does that work?
What do you get if you run (using 2.1):
wbfs_file LegoRockBand.iso id_title
Does this problem happen to just these 2 games or others too?

My first post was 2.1
1.9 gives me basicly the same error except the crazy letters are a little bit shorter for me.
Wii Backup manager didn't work as well.
But wwt tool worked. Thank you.

The problem was only on these 2 games.

Hmm, I wonder what's s special with these 2 games and what does wwt do differently to make it work?
