Hi Oggzee,

I have found something to be changed in the FAT FAQ...

QUOTE said:
Q: I have copied the .wbfs files to my usb drive but the loader doesn't see them?
A: The files have to be copied to the \wbfs folder on the FAT partition, like this: D:\wbfs\GAMEID.wbfs

you may want to update these FAQ according to the new default subdirectory management... for example D:\wbfs\GAMEID_GAMENAME\GAMEID.wbfs

Is in wbfs_file the creation of subfolders still an option? if in cfg49 subfolders are the default maybe even in wbfs_file should be the same...

Thanks a log Oggzee for this great revolutionary loader... and thanks to those who will help me with info on the forwarder...

Oh noez another wbfs vs fat debate

For me the main point is giving a choice which allows one to find the advantages / disadvantages and select a system depending on personal preferences.
oggzeeQ: Is there any advantage using FAT rather than a WBFS partition?
A: No.
Perhaps you should change the FAQ then, for those who can't think for themselves anyways. As you say, it's a matter of personal preferences, although I'd have to 'debate' that being able to defrag and/or resize the partition are clear advantages of FAT32 not shared by WBFS, so the answer definitely isn't a clear cut "No."

looks like Peppa pig is a hassle game even with a chipped Wii and a disc it seems to hold at a black screen for a bit when booting.

maybe it does something a little odd when booting?

has anyone experienced random freezing with this loader? Everything works fine but every now and then my wii will freeze and I have to hard restart. Could it be my usb drive? it doesn't have an alternate power source (it is powered by the wii i guess).

could that be it?

maybe i should update the loader itself? homebrew channel?

I dont think peppa pig has any BCA protection or does anything funny because i now have it working from a WBFS SD card thru NeoGamma. It works fine. I used an SD card because my HDD is a FAT bastard!!!

Now why do cfg, wiiflow and GX and black screen with this game?

I've been getting an issue where its not finding config.txt on my drive at times and starting on default with no covers since 49-fat this seems random tho and is fixed by relaunching.

edit also black-screened with SoftChip but i was too lazy to mess with the settings

Hi. Just wanted to know if CFG USB Loader allows Super Smash Bros Brawl+ to run without problems. I ran a quick search of the thread but found no definitive reply other than the lack of a suitable cheat engine to run the immense amount of codes Brawl+ encompasses.

Have there been any updates? If not, does anybody know of a way to make gecko read the disc image from the hard drive rather than from the physical disc?

Hi today my USB HDD had come and from now I am too in the club

I have the verbatim 1.5TB and I have it 2 partision the games work fine is there a way to play to the other partision apps for my homebrowe or wad or channel from Wii?
I mean how can I do this? and have the wbfs games too

cfg v50x (experimental)

cfg50x.dol
cfg50x-fat.dol
(or online)
Changes:
* OMFG#50
* Improved gui speed with large number of games
(most noticable in grid, flow and flow-z gui styles)
* Print on the intro screen if the ios is reloaded a second time
(in case the setting from config.txt is different from default)
* The -fat version 'simple' option does not change 'hide_hddinfo'
* Changed WBFS ERROR: read error while installing a game to a WARNING.
Note: the read error check has been introduced in v47, all previous
versions including the original loader 1.5 and all other loaders
silently ignore it.
* Changed default value of install_partition=only_game
To avoid errors caused by modchips when trying to copy the update partition.
* Minor cosmetic changes to cover download when trying different urls.

Just to get it right directly: Oggzee did about 90% of it. Damn, now i have lots of work to do, well if i want it in NeoGamma too. And if i seriously want to develop it further, i doubt there's a way around.

every game works to install from disc with GX Loader, but not with this one? Strange!
Because it is ignoring read errors

I will change that back to ignore errors too, just print a warning.
Is there any chance you could make this configurable? Though it's a pain on one or two of my discs, I like it because it means I'm getting a good dump (rather than one that might have a few errors in it).

are you using cheats?? I have that problem when I use cheats, but other than that I have no problems at all.. SSBB does however freeze when trying to exit the game when you need to press 1 2 A B or whatever buttons it is at the same time...

search for the brawl+updatifier. i have added a special version of geckoOS that will load brawl+ from usb and dvd-r using IOS222v4. other than that, i think neogamma beta8 can load it, but only with IOS249 so you have to use a version that doesnt break dual layer support for the whole game to work.
