I use WBFS Backup Manager because I'm not good with command line apps and really wasn't sure how to do it wit wbfs_file from Oggzee.
I have tried MK:A now and it works fine for me using fat, 4gb split, cfg48, wbfs_file. It looks wii backup manager gui is really having problems with creating the .wbfs files, so I recommend using wbfs_file until the gui tool is fixed. There are more similar reports in the wii backup manager thread:
QUOTE(nikeymikey @ Nov 21 2009, 07:18 PM) Just tried adding 2 more games to my HDD using the 4Gb split option, both give black screen upon loading.
Re did the split using wbfs_file 1.7, both games worked fine.
A bug???
Thanks Oggzee,
That's what I suspected, I just haven't had time to try it yet.
I'm going to convert them now and try again, when my son get's tired of playing (which may be a while).
it's the frackin hard drive! there's like 1100 bad sectors on it........crap in a hat! 2. Regarding Wii Sports Resort. Do I still need to use wiiscrubber and get the .dol file, rename and place on SD-card? Or is this also working automatically without any extra work in newer versions of cfg usb loader? Read something about removing the Sam & Max fix did the trick. Is that true?
Ease up, man. Why so aggro?Dr. Clipper said:The solution for playing Wii Sports Resort is to pop your original discs in and watch the video at the start of the game once. It will work in the loader again from then on.
Don't have original discs? Then figure out the other work around for yourself (besides, you've already been given the answer, and should have remembered it from when you first did it anyway).

Using the alternate dol from the disc is what I did the first time to get it running. After playing it a while I didn't know I was going to have to do it all over again. Oh well, thx for the quick reply tho.
.wip is plannedWiiPower said:Does configurable usb loader load .wip patches on the fly already? Or is doing that planned?
It works great on NeoGamma and is a better solution for games like New Super Mario Bros in my eyes, because:
- It can be updated without a loader update
- The patches can be applied to .isos if you want(easily with Generic Wii Patcher, or with a Hexeditor for Linux people)
And i chose .wip because it already exists and is human readable and writable.
PS: What libogc are you using? If you have code dump problems or memory problems with it, try my modified libogc:
