i moved from a fat32 (30gb) and wbfs (970gb) --------------> fat32 (30gb) and fat32(970ish) setup.
both fat32's are primary, only the 1st, smaller one is ACTIVE
1st has apps and usb-loader plus loads of HB gubbins, 2nd has only wbfs folder (and a drive icon i think...)

but
HBC cannot see the apps folder on the 1st partition. i CAN move it to the second, butit seems to take a while to load on the larger partition.
so, slightly off-topic, but how do i get HBC to recognise that 1st partition?

many thanks

BTW
using Paragon Partition MAnager 9 PRo, so pretty sure of the primary / active things...
here's a question, would switching the 2nd partition to 'logical' be a bad thing ?
i've read HBC wouldnt like it, so that might be a solution if usb-cfg doesnt mind

It might just work. Your other alternative is to try to switch the order of the two partitions in the partition map so that the large one becomes partition 2. I don't know if that's possible, though.

QUOTE(drizzt007 @ Nov 10 2009, 06:59 AM) isn't that soemthing to do with this (CIOS 222/223 with mload by Hermes) not being installed?
I can't find the page where I read it at the moment , but I know I read something about that.
Hermes cIOS v4 is installed properly. Well at least GH5 is working, so I assume that means it's installed properly.
Did anyone else test Conf USB Loader with a GH controller?
Just tried it now. Even the remote inside the guitar controller on its own doesn't work. I assume gannon will find a fix for this soon.

I have seen ? and * are filtered in the last version of wbfs_file. I have encountered the same problem with the '|' character, the txt file isn't created (windows). It seems windows is also filtering theses \ / : * ? " < > | characters.

Edit: I just used wbfs_file to convert the .wbfs to .iso which worked fine. I opened the new ISO in WiiScrubber to check the offset and it's as it should be.. 0x104280000
Edit 2: Actually, the offset should be 1091174400. But it seems my code is correct because I can read the ISO and the partition structure looks fine, the size is calculated correctly etc. For all I know, this game (Rig Racers 2) doesn't even work with USB loaders.
Hmm, I'm sorry if I can't be of help here, so do you have a solution for that, is there something i need to fix?

It should work fine. If it doesn't let me know.

You're loading the game with mload-222? Did you also try 223?

Every instrument (GH3 guitar, RB2 guitars, drums, mics) works for me through this loader with mload-222, in every game I've tried including GH5.

They work for him too. The question here is getting the guitar controller to work within the loader itself, not within games. gannon has added support and loader navigation via guitar will be in the next version.

I tested this further by using WiiScrubber to export the game partition, delete a couple of games from the disc, then import it back in. Which means the game would have a lower partition offset. I then used Wii Backup Manager to copy the game from the multiboot ISO to WBFS. It worked.

I'm not sure, but would there be problems booting a game partition if the offset was over 4 gig? It's really the only thing I can think of.

I've found a decent workaround anyway, so it's really no big deal. I'm just glad my code was OK.

Yes, it looks like it would:

static u32 *buffer = (u32 *)0x93000000;

s32 __Disc_FindPartition(u64 *outbuf)
u64 offset = 0, table_offset = 0;
[ ... ]
offset = buffer[cnt * 2]

Just a heads-up, because this looks shady:
http://www.cfgloader.com

Any comments/backstory?
what's shady abt it?
Just how they seem to be attempting to make money (via advertising) off the loader--even the link to GBATemp passes through a "tinybucks.net" redirect, like many others there. I guess it's not doing anything particularly malicious, though.

Oggzee - I just wanted to saw you're an ass, and I love it! In reading the forum to catch up, your comments are dry and direct, and don't pull punches.

For the record, I think your work is excellent, and I appreciate the time and energy you spend to deal with us schmucks. You continually pump out quality product, and wanted for the record to say thanks, I 'ppreciate you everyday I turn on my wii!

To the GPL Douches - Learn what GNU GPL is, and is not. You're a fine product of why this nation is in trouble; you know enough to be dangerous, but not enough to know what you're talking about. Also wouldn't the GPL only apply to those countries that accepted it, and codified it - just a thought. Thank you for giving me material to laugh at you, you keep me entertained in this thread.
