I don't understand what's the issue?
When you're in the screen asking for confirmation to start you CAN press B to go back.
Or did you mean something else?
when i'm at the screen which asks which dol i wish to run, the b button has no functionality - i can select which dol i'm interested in, and then press a to boot the game, but that's all...no backing out to the previous screen.

from my perspective, that's how its always been.

Oh you're talking about the alt.dol selection? Then say so, you've got me confused

But that confirmation is required only if the alt dol option is set to ask or disc, you can select directly which alt dol should be used from the game options screen in which case it doesn't ask for confirmation again. If you have been starting the game just to see which als.dols are available then just go to game options and you get a nice list to select from, and you can return from there

i may have confused myself as well in the process! but not being in front of my wii right now, i described that particular screen as being the point of no return - once you get to that screen, regardless of dol's, if you change your mind about playing that game, theres no turning back, no getting back to the game synopsis or game list...your only option is to start the game.

Of course, because at that point you have already decided and confirmed to start the game

If you don't like that you're being asked about alt dol, then don't select the ask option and that's solved.

Do you have this with every game or only a few? If every game, then you must have set up an alt_dol option in config.txt and you should go delete it as only a handful of games actually need it. For those games that need it, save the .dol you need or save the 'ask' value for games where you might choose different things each time (like for Sam and Max). This is what oggzee has been trying to tell you.

The return_to patch conflicts with PoP and it is one of the things that the clear_patches option disables when you have set it to 'on' or 'all'. The only way to make it all work at the same time is to not use the clear_patches option, but instead use the Ocarina cheat to disable the patch protection within the game. I never got the Ocarina cheat working back when I tried to test it, but I believe it has been improved upon in the meantime. If Ocarina doesn't work, you just have to accept that PoP can't use the return_to patch.

I can personally confirm that the Ocarina patch code that Dr. Clipper suggested does in fact work. I'm currently using cIOSX rev20b base 56, all patches set to off, the hook type set to OSSleepThread, and this code:

RPWZ41
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Hookable [sm98]
A8000000 00000100
044CDECC 4800005C

The game works perfectly for me with this setup, I hope this helps. Also, I'd just like to thank the devs for all their time and hard work, it's very much appreciated!!

Hello I am having a problem

I create the gct file and Loader is finding the codes. They just do not work in-game. (Wii Play)

For example, I create a gct with Infinite Lives for "Tanks!". I start the game and start Tanks! and I still have only 3 lives and can lose them all. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Is it the Hooktype?

Hey pplucky, do you have IOS58 installed? Use this:
IOS58 installer
I will take a look at it.
UPDATE: Worked as charm! Thanks again.
Hi there.

Topic #1: Installing this V7 forwarder channel (first download) made my CFG USB Loader loading time much slower, like 3 or 4 times slower. If I run it directly from the HBC, it runs fast as before.
Does anybody know why is this happening?
Can anyone tip me on how to fix this?

Topic #2: Why are there 2 versions of V7 forwarder channel? What are the differences between them?

Thanks in advance.
